BioGuard's once-a-week 3-step program requires only minutes and will yield sparkling water. In Step 1, Smart Sticks dissolve slowly, operating only when the pump is on, to sanitize and kill bacteria. In Step 2, Smart Shock clarifies pool water, destroying compounds that cause irritation. In Step 3, Back Up is used for the continuous prevention of algae.

BioGuard also offers SoftSwim®, a chlorine-free alternative that is gentle on hair, eyes and skin. Its A-B-C system leaves water soft and clear with no unpleasant odors. SoftSwim A works in high temperatures to prevent algae and does not evaporate in the sun. SoftSwim B, a biguanide sanitizer, controls bacteria. SoftSwim C keeps water clean, removing contaminants that cause cloudiness. Its built-in stabilizer ensures that chemicals will not burn off easily.

BioGuard's Mineral Springs® product combines nature with technology to deliver a virtually hands-off maintenance program that requires only about five minutes per week. The sanitizer generation system uses a unique blend of minerals to produce water that feels silky smooth and looks crystal clear. For use in any type of pool, Mineral Springs effectively kills bacteria and algae while providing a sanitizer that does not irritate eyes, skin or hair.
